The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Guida shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Guida scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Maddison is trying to stand up here but Guida is controlling him well.

Guida drops an elbow to the side of Maddison's head.

Maddison really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Maddison is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Guida scores with a couple of nice shots.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Guida in particular looking to stall.

Guida lands a big elbow - Maddison is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Guida!
