The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooter lands with a nice body punch.

and Cooter counters with a left hand that sends Brazil to the canvas!

It looks like Rio Brazil has been cut.
Brazil striking off his back but it's not causing Cooter any problems.

Brazil is looking for a triangle but Cooter pushes his legs off easily.
Brazil will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Cooter's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Cooter distracts Brazil with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Brazil manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Brazil seems to have got his legs back now.
Still in half guard, Cooter seems content to control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cooter seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

and Cooter counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Brazil throws an elbow that misses. Cooter uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Brazil's guard. Nice move by Cooter!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Brazil is striking from the bottom but Cooter uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.

Cooter is taking a breather. Brazil says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Cooter is pressing down on Brazil's thigh, looking to free his foot. Brazil is holding on for now.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Cooter connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

That's time! Brazil's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Cooter cracks Brazil on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Brazil falls backwards against the cage. Cooter follows up with more strikes that drop Brazil to his knees. Cooter keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Brazil! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Cobweb Cooter thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
