Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kendall Swanson (ranked 25470 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magomed Khaibulaev (ranked 4807 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kendall Swanson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Magomed Khaibulaev!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Fedor Mirinova and Ivan Kurochkin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swanson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Swanson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Khaibulaev manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Khaibulaev keeps the fight on the outside.
Khaibulaev with the counter takedown but Swanson avoids it easily.
Khaibulaev lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Khaibulaev.

It looks like Kendall Swanson has been cut.

Khaibulaev rushes Swanson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Khaibulaev is trying to break free.
Swanson wants a takedown.
Khaibulaev wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Khaibulaev is pushing Swanson up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Khaibulaev is pressed up against the cage. Swanson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Khaibulaev down to the mat. Khaibulaev avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Swanson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Swanson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Khaibulaev has his hands clasped together around Swanson's back. He's all about the action.

Khaibulaev works his way to full guard. Good work.
Khaibulaev wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Swanson manages to pass to side control.
Swanson prevents Khaibulaev from improving his position.

Khaibulaev pushes Swanson off and gets back to his feet.

Khaibulaev gets a double leg takedown into Swanson's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Khaibulaev drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Khaibulaev seems to have locked his on tight now - Swanson screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Khaibulaev, as he picks up the win!
