Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Mara�on (ranked 529 p4p, 83 weight class) and Rip Snorten (ranked 1304 p4p, 172 weight class). Mara�on comes to the cage accompanied by Pistolero. Snorten has chosen Sound of Silence as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snorten misses with a takedown
and Mara�on counters with a left to the body.
Mara�on takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Snorten takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Snorten takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Snorten does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Snorten has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Mara�on seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Snorten can turn it around.
