The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jr looking to score a takedown here. Bambataa is defending well but Jr drives through and ends up in Bambataa's guard.
Jr stops Bambataa from standing up.

Bambataa is looking for a triangle but Jr pushes his legs off easily.
Jr slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Jr passes easily into side control. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jr has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Bambataa!

Jr is working for a guillotine from mount but Bambataa frees his head quite easily.

Bambataa is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
Bambataa has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Jr working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Bambataa is doing well to defend. Jr seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Bambataa is forced to tap and this one is over!
