Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Benjamin Boogie (ranked 6411 p4p, 266 weight class) and Toto Afrika (ranked 6255 p4p, 0 weight class). Boogie's entrance music is Dance Dance Dance - Steve Miller Band. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Afrika throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Toto Afrika seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boogie shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Afrika is trying to defend but Boogie finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Boogie lands a nice short elbow.
Boogie is nestled in close to Afrika, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Afrika is trying to get back to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boogie seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Afrika for as long as he can get away with.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boogie takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Boogie looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Afrika with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Boogie looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Well, if Boogie is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Afrika has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Boogie is working away from the top position though.
Boogie is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Afrika!

Boogie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Boogie has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Boogie uses his free foot to push down on Afrika's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Afrika.
