The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lager closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Morrison decides to pull guard.
Morrison could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

It looks like Lager might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Morrison is not content to let Lager control the position.
Morrison sneaks back into half guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Lager controlling the pace.
Let's hope that Lager has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Morrison tries to roll over but Lager keeps him under control.

Lager lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Morrison down.
Morrison is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Lager is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Morrison's shoulder. That is not cool.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Lager moves into the clinch successfully.
Morrison is trying to pull guard but Lager turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Morrison jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lager walks away with a smile on his face. Morrison gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
