The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Yoo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tong Po slaps away a takedown attempt from Yoo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Tong Po shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Yoo clinches.
Tong Po using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Yoo has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Tong Po is struggling to control the position.
Tong Po tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Yoo smiles and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tong Po throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yoo's waist but Yoo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tong Po off to one side.
The crowd cheers as Yoo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tong Po doesn't seem phased though.

Yoo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tong Po circles away quickly and effectively.

Yoo decides to stand up, so the ref orders Tong Po to his feet.
Yoo lands with a nice combination. Tong Po backs away looking to recover.
Tong Po tries to score a power double leg takedown but Yoo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tong Po somewhat.

Tong Po walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Yoo throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tong Po tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Yoo is in Tong Po's guard.
Tong Po is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Yoo is pressing down on Tong Po's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
