The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gniewko throws a big shot that misses.

Gniewko closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Azevedo Souza did well to prevent Gniewko getting side control.

Gniewko gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Gniewko moves into the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Azevedo Souza.
Azevedo Souza is trying to pull guard but Gniewko turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Gniewko jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Azevedo Souza walks away with a smile on his face. Gniewko gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Gniewko fails to land with a series of punches.

Azevedo Souza is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Gniewko.
No joy there for Gniewko, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Gniewko feints and as Azevedo Souza raises his hands in defense, Gniewko changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
