The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Daco fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Olsen sprawls well initially but Daco persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Olsen gets full guard.
Daco really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Olsen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Daco working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Olsen wants to stand up but Daco is controlling him.
Daco is working Olsen over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Daco drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Olsen manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Daco has Olsen in his guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Daco holds on and takes a little breather.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Daco working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Olsen has passed into half guard!

Daco is trying to control but can't.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Daco tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Olsen manages to move to mount!
Daco keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Olsen avoids the attempt from Daco to control.
Olsen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Daco is trying to stand up.
Olsen throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Daco can do anything to dispel that myth.
