The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gutierrez keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Davies is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gutierrez sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Gutierrez lands a leg kick that knocks Davies off balance momentarily.
Davies throws a low kick but it's checked well by Gutierrez .
Gutierrez pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Davies.

Davies goes for a double leg but Gutierrez avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gutierrez continues to drive forward.

Gutierrez tries a low kick but Davies avoids it.
Gutierrez thuds a left hand into Davies's body.
Gutierrez jabs Davies right on the nose. Davies blinks but takes it well.
Davies is rocked!
Gutierrez catches Davies with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Davies forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
