The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pacheco has his takedown stuffed

and Sityodtong counters with a crisp one two that drops Pacheco! Sityodtong thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Pacheco to his feet! Pacheco is in big trouble!

Pacheco fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Oh Pacheco is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Pacheco shoots in and drives through. Sityodtong sprawls well.
Sityodtong wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Sityodtong lands a left and a right that send Pacheco crashing to the mat, dazed. Sityodtong thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Jose Pacheco has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pacheco glances at the clock... BAM! Sityodtong nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Pacheco crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Pacheco is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Yodsanan Sityodtong was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
