The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Preuss doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Bogard lands a jab.
A nice leg kick lands there from Bogard.

Preuss takes one to the side of the head.
Bogard scores with a kick to the midsection.
Bogard throws a jab when Preuss was well out of range.
Bogard connects with a right hand. Preuss shakes it off.
Bogard fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Preuss has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Preuss doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Bogard fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Bogard takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Bogard tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Preuss was well out of range. Poor timing from Bogard.

Bogard thows a leg kick but Preuss checks it
and Preuss counters with an inside leg kick.
Preuss tries to close the distance and clinch but Bogard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Terry Bogard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Preuss looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Bogard throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Preuss steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

Preuss moves into range and clinches up with Bogard.
Preuss tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Bogard works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
A nice right hand lands inside from Bogard.
Bogard prevents a body shot from Preuss.
Bogard lands a right hand that snaps the head of Preuss backwards.

Preuss tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Preuss tries to stall but Bogard uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Preuss tries to throw a body punch but Bogard avoids it by throwing Preuss back against the cage.

Bogard lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Bogard lands a hook to the side of the head.
Bogard blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Preuss is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Bogard lands a body shot in the clinch.
Preuss looks winded!

Bogard escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Bogard lands with a big left! Preuss is wobbled badly! Bogard comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Preuss to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
