Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kajun Puno (ranked 1 p4p, 1 weight class) and Kimbo Slice (ranked 18 p4p, 3 weight class). Puno kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is デッドマンズ銃. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice throws a leg kick that misses.
Puno swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Puno tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Slice was well out of range. Poor timing from Puno.

It looked like Puno wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Puno throws a leg kick but Slice sees it coming and checks it nicely.

and Puno takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Slice wants to slow Puno down by chopping away at his legs.

The fighters circling - Slice throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

and Puno counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Slice makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Kimbo Slice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Puno cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Puno throws a solid leg kick but Slice takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Puno.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Slice bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A countering left hand to the body from Slice misses.
Slice has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Slice catches Puno with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Slice lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Puno displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Slice throws out the jab.
Slice scores with a hook to the body. Puno takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Puno feints and then cracks Slice's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Slice down.
Puno tries to clinch up but Slice circles away and keeps his distance.

Puno feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Slice's calf.
Puno has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Puno tries to close the distance and clinch up but Slice swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That kick from Slice tenderised Puno's leg. Puno is trying to keep his angry face on.
Slice looks to land a right hand but Puno moved out of range.

The fighters circle momentarily. Puno darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Slice's corner calls for a 1-2. Slice obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Kajun Puno's cut is getting worse.
Slice sends Puno crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Slice is motioning to the referee to let Puno up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Puno walks straight into a right hand from Slice - that's dropped him! Slice jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Puno from any more punishment! Puno complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Kimbo Slice!

A very excited looking Kimbo Slice made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
