The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steve slips a straight right by Ohanian.
Ohanian slips under a jab.
Steve on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Steve connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Ohanian misses with a wild combination.
Ohanian blocks a jab.
Ohanian jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ohanian throws a shot from downtown. Steve moves away and avoids it.
That kick from Ohanian tenderised Steve's leg. Steve is trying to keep his angry face on.
Steve tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ohanian was well out of range. Poor timing from Steve.
Steve throws a jab but it's blocked by Ohanian.
The fighters circling - Ohanian throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Ohanian buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

and Ohanian counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Steve moves into range and clinches up with Ohanian.
Ohanian tries a body shot but Steve blocks it.

Ohanian throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Steve sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Steve wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

It looks like Chris Steve has been cut.

Ohanian gets through Steve's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Steve goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Steve lands with a short shot to the head.

Ohanian has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Steve seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Ohanian can turn it around.

Steve creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Ohanian's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Ohanian drops to his knees and Steve pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

After the fight, Chris Steve was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
