PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between What Cheem (ranked 6516 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Johnson (ranked 5522 p4p, 491 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Eddie Johnson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cheem tries to close the distance and clinch but Johnson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Johnson circles away from the clinch attempt.
What Cheem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cheem looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Johnson moves into range and clinches up with Cheem.
Cheem missing with knees to the body.
Cheem with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

It looks like Eddie Johnson has been cut.

Johnson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Cheem is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Johnson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Johnson has escaped and now he's on top!
