Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between William Wooden (ranked 2392 p4p, 239 weight class) and Dumba Diame Jr (ranked 2225 p4p, 229 weight class). Diame Jr comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Get It On The Floor kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, William Wooden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dumba Diame Jr!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Illya Tyunina and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diame Jr steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wooden.
Diame Jr fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Wooden misses the jab.
Diame Jr with a lazy takedown attempt

and Wooden counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Wooden.
Wooden looking to sit in guard and control but Diame Jr gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Wooden not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

A close second round but Dumba Diame Jr will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!


Wooden loads up on a big right hand but Diame Jr slips the punch.
Diame Jr tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Horrible takedown attempt by Diame Jr or perhaps it was just good defense by Wooden, which made it look bad.
