Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ramon Hyde (ranked 6930 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darth Mo (ranked 6031 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hyde on his heels. He'll look to pass Hyde's guard now, I'm sure.
Mo throws a big right hand that misses.
Hyde knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mo on the ground.
Hyde wants to get back to his feet but Mo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Mo trying to control but Hyde is working from the bottom.

Mo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hyde manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mo has Hyde in his guard.

Mo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hyde defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hyde trying to control but Mo is working from the bottom.

Hyde stopping the sweep attempt from Mo.
Mo controlling the position.

Mo looking for a guillotine here but Hyde defends easily.
Mo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Mo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hyde is one step ahead there.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mo has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Hyde trying to control the position from guard on top but Mo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Mo is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Hyde frees his head nicely. Oh but Mo has switched to an armbar! Hyde is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
