The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Oxlade misses the jab.

Hanncock closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Da Oxlade's guard.
Da Oxlade is wriggling around but Hanncock manages to pass to half guard.

Hanncock slips a nice elbow through Da Oxlade's hands, connecting with Da Oxlade's forehead.
Hanncock looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Hanncock's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Hanncock seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Da Oxlade for as long as he can get away with.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Da Oxlade uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hanncock.

Hanncock shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hanncock showed some decent athleticism there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Da Oxlade is in trouble now - Hanncock has advanced to mount!
Hanncock lands a big shot there that rocks Da Oxlade but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Hanncock cracks Da Oxlade with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Da Oxlade has left one of his arms exposed and Hanncock doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Da Oxlade screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
