PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Horton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koya Chekutimi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chekutimi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Horton slips a jab and a cross from Chekutimi.
Horrible takedown by Chekutimi or perhaps it was just good defense by Horton which made him look bad.

Horton jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Chekutimi is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Chekutimi and Horton has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Horton had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Chekutimi is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Horton Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Chekutimi's back instead.
