Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nicol Bolas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mike Snow!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snow slips a straight right by Bolas.
Snow avoids a punch combination nicely.

Snow gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Snow lands a right hand.
Bolas jumps guard but Snow stands there with Bolas around his waist. Bolas gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Bolas tries to stall but Snow uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Bolas blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Snow throws a head punch that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bolas looking for a takedown.

Snow jumps guard.
Snow wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Snow lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Snow wants to control from the top but Bolas keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Snow is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Snow sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bolas's guard.
Snow is nestled in close to Bolas, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Snow connects with a nice short shot to Bolas's temple.
Snow lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Snow has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Bolas looks like he's trying to stand up.
Bolas on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Bolas trying to control from the bottom.
Snow looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bolas with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Well, if Snow is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Snow moves into full mount! Bolas won't be happy about that!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bolas tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Bolas tries to buck Snow off but he can't manage it.
Snow avoids the attempt from Bolas to control.
Snow pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Bolas taking shots to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Snow cracks Bolas with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.


Bolas is rocked!
Snow has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bolas's face.
Oh Bolas is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Snow lands a big elbow - Bolas is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Bolas is forced to tap out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Mike Snow!
A relieved looking Mike Snow thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
