Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Demetrious Saint Pierre (ranked 5697 p4p, 400 weight class) and Cory Dillon (ranked 2602 p4p, 235 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Saint Pierre might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dividing by Zero/Slim Pickens Does the Right Thing and Rides the Bomb to He. Cory Dillon will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dillon shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dillon throws a nice looking combination but Saint Pierre bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Dillon shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Saint Pierre eats them both and turns towards Dillon to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Dillon working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Saint Pierre pushes Dillon away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Dillon gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Dillon is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Saint Pierre is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
