The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenderson takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Martinez closes the distance and clinches up with Kenderson, looking for a takedown. Martinez pushes Kenderson against the cage but Kenderson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Martinez shoots in for a takedown but Kenderson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Kenderson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Martinez's efforts to push away.

and Kenderson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Kenderson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Martinez defends it well.

Kenderson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Martinez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kenderson on the ground.

Kenderson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Martinez doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kenderson.

Martinez is trying to control Kenderson's posture. Kenderson takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Martinez! Kenderson is rotating here... this could be the end... Martinez is out! Kenderson has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!
