Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alika Webb!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Kavanagh and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whymer dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Whymer falls off balance throwing a combination
and Webb counters with a nice right hand that sends Whymer toppling to the canvas! Whymer scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Webb finish him?!
It looks like Just Whymer has been cut.
Whymer connects with a nice looking jab.
Just Whymer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Webb displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Whymer throws out the jab.
Whymer looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Whymer throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Webb on the side of the head.
Whymer lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Whymer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Whymer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Webb looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Whymer throws a hook but Webb blocks it.
Whymer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A little jabbing left from Webb on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Whymer throws a right hand that misses
and Webb counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Whymer fails to land with a series of punches.
Webb lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Whymer misses the jab.
Webb looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Whymer misses with a two punch combination.
It seemed like Webb was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Whymer swings widly with a right hand
and Webb cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Whymer connects with a body shot.

Whymer lands a glancing blow to the side of Webb's head.
Whymer connects with a single shot there.
Webb is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Whymer lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Webb is looking to close the distance but Whymer sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Webb crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Webb is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
