The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Trump tries to clinch but Heavy moves out of range.

It looks like Top Heavy has been cut.
Heavy dives in for a single leg takedown but Trump sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Trump is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
It seemed like Heavy was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Heavy blocks a jab.
Trump misses with a takedown
and Heavy counters with a stiff right hand.
Trump fails with a takedown attempt.
Heavy connects with a single shot there.
It looks like Donald Trump has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Trump throws a good cross that connects.
Trump fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Heavy, pushing him back against the cage.

I was talking to Trump's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Trump tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Heavy's elbow.
Trump breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Trump has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Trump there as he acknowledges the shot.
Trump is looking to clinch but Heavy is avoiding it.
Heavy tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

and Heavy counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Heavy thows a left - swing and a miss!
Trump gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Trump lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Trump pulls guard effortlessly.
Trump keeping moving, preventing Heavy from controlling successfully.

Trump is striking but Heavy is not phased and passes to half guard.
Heavy thows a huge punch but Trump dodges it nicely.
Heavy is stalling here. Trump is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Heavy seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Trump has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Trump in side control, throwing shots but Heavy defends.
Trump has hold of Heavy's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Heavy seems comfortable defending it but Trump has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Heavy is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Heavy is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Trump couldn't care less - he's delighted!

After winning the bout, Donald Trump thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
