Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Uruk Owraa (ranked 4584 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexei Surov (ranked 6984 p4p, 0 weight class). Surov has chosen Amphetamines as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owraa catches Surov napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Surov to the canvas!
It looks like Alexei Surov has been cut.
Owraa looking to pass the guard.
Owraa works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Owraa tries to pass the half guard into mount. Surov knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Owraa is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Owraa wants to work for an arm triangle but Surov is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Owraa is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Surov sees it coming and defends easily.
Surov tries to roll over but Owraa keeps him under control.

Owraa is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Surov regains full guard. Nicely done.
Owraa drops back looking for a leg! Surov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Surov manages to kick Owraa off! Owraa jumps back into Surov's guard.

Owraa postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Owraa stands and throws Surov's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Owraa moves into full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Owraa has hold of Surov's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Surov manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Surov looks winded!
Owraa jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Surov manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Surov is trying to control Owraa's posture but Owraa avoids it.
Owraa thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Owraa has hold of Surov's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Surov tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Owraa cranks the arm and Surov screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Surov, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Uruk Owraa!
During a confident post fight interview, Uruk Owraa thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
