Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Petro Pspic (ranked 7635 p4p, 529 weight class) and Enitan Arendse (ranked 4082 p4p, 395 weight class). Petro Pspic had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pspic misses with a double jab.
Arendse fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pspic looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Arendse dodges the punch combination from Pspic.
Arendse tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pspic looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Arendse feints and then cracks Pspic's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pspic down.

Arendse lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Arendse throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pspic on the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pspic is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Arendse is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Pspic had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Pspic does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Pspic looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Enitan Arendse seems to be getting the better of the standup.
