The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harlamov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Sparbot tries a head kick but it misses.

Sparbot stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sparbot wants it to stay on the feet.
Harlamov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sparbot sprawls well. Sparbot wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Harlamov gets slowly back to his feet.

Harlamov has been working on his balance at Russian Bears Training Center, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Sparbot.
Harlamov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sparbot defends well and Harlamov ends up having to push Sparbot into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Harlamov tries to keep at a distance but Sparbot has taken the fight into the clinch.

Harlamov closes the distance and clinches up with Sparbot, looking for a takedown. Harlamov pushes Sparbot against the cage but Sparbot circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Sparbot has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Sparbot gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Harlamov regains guard.

Sparbot has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Harlamov to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Sparbot is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Harlamov pulls down on the head and he's put Sparbot to sleep! This one is all over!
