Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Urik Clemik!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Clemik shoots in and bounces Juarez off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Clemik engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Let's hope that Clemik has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Juarez has a closed guard, preventing Clemik from standing up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Clemik passes Juarez's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Still in half guard, Clemik seems content to control.
It looks like Clemik might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Juarez could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Juarez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Clemik throws a fast counter high kick but Juarez manages to duck under it in time.

Clemik moves into the clinch.
Juarez fails to pull guard.
Juarez is trying to pull guard but Clemik has him pressed against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Reginald Juarez. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Juarez gets control of Clemik's arms and successfully pulls guard. Juarez will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Juarez wants to sweep here but Clemik controlling him for the moment.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Clemik keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Juarez's head.

Clemik seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Clemik takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Clemik is working for a submission of some sort.

Clemik gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Clemik shoots in and gets a takedown into Juarez's guard.
Juarez is looking to stand back up but Clemik counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Juarez.

Clemik wants to stand but Juarez has his arm trapped.
Clemik advances to full mount.
Clemik scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Juarez?


It looks like Reginald Juarez has been cut.

We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Clemik.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Juarez counters with a one-two to the body.
Reginald Juarez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Clemik fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Juarez sprawls well initially but Clemik persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Clemik is staying tight to Juarez's torso, preventing him from escaping.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Clemik cracks Juarez with a big right hand but Juarez just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Clemik looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Juarez covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
