Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Ahearn (ranked 1375 p4p, 160 weight class) and Butt Wipe (ranked 1030 p4p, 115 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahearn fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wipe.
Wipe lands a slapping body shot.
Wipe lands a jab to Ahearn's midsection.
Ahearn throws a body shot but no joy.
Wipe misses with a straight left.
Wipe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ahearn manages to avoid it.
Wipe looks to land a left hand but Ahearn moved out of range nicely.
Ahearn was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Wipe rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ahearn moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wipe scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ahearn doesn't seem bothered though.

Wipe drops Ahearn with a beautiful combination! Ahearn stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Wipe is looking for the KO!

It looks like James Ahearn has been cut.
Ahearn on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Oh Ahearn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ahearn is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Wipe doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Ahearn crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Ahearn's bad books for that mishap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Butt Wipe!
Butt Wipe really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Urban Fighter logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
James Ahearn was interviewed post fight and said 'Fate is for those too weak to determine their own destiny. I will not be a victim of fate. I will be back.'.
