Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirkland misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Troy is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Kirkland with a body shot.
Kirkland takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Troy ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Troy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kirkland stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Troy wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Oh Kirkland is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Troy moves into range and clinches up with Kirkland.
Troy digs a right hand into Kirkland's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kirkland's gas tank.
Troy dips a shoulder and cracks Kirkland with a mighty uppercut! Kirkland falls back against the cage and Troy unloads with a barrage of strikes! Kirkland is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Troy screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cyrill Troy!
Cyrill Troy bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
