Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ted Juhlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hatt Mughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hatt Mughes is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ted Juhlin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hatt Mughes!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mughes throws a quick inside leg kick.
Mughes throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Juhlin on the side of the head.
Juhlin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mughes swivels and escapes.
Juhlin doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Mughes instigates a clinch.
Juhlin has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mughes is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Juhlin is breathing heavily.
Mughes has had enough of the clinch but Juhlin keeps him there for the moment.
Mughes goes for a takedown in the clinch but Juhlin prevents it.
Juhlin has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mughes avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ted Juhlin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Juhlin prevents Mughes from breaking the clinch.
Mughes has had enough of the clinch but Juhlin keeps him there for the moment.

Mughes wants the takedown. Juhlin is fighting it off but Mughes persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Juhlin's guard against the cage.

Mughes gets to his feet - Juhlin follows without any prompting.
Juhlin shoots for a double leg takedown but Mughes sprawls well. He's pushed Juhlin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mughes dips to his left and cracks Juhlin with an uppercut!

The fighters circle momentarily. Mughes darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Mughes throws a head kick that misses.
Juhlin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Mughes looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Juhlin!

Juhlin is rocked!
Mughes sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Mughes's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Juhlin flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Juhlin is looking to get to half guard.
Mughes looking to control and managing it successfully.
Let's hope that Mughes has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Despite being in the dominant position, Hatt Mughes just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Nice straight punches there by Mughes. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Mughes.
Mughes throws a leg kick which misses Juhlin's front leg but catches the back leg as Juhlin tries to avoid it.

Mughes closes the distance and clinches.
Mughes wants to break the clinch but can't.
Juhlin wants a takedown.
Mughes tries to break the clinch but Juhlin is controlling the position.

Mughes manages to break the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Juhlin has his takedown stuffed
and Mughes counters with a nice low kick that buckles Juhlin's knee momentarily.
Mughes throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Mughes.

Mughes stands up and we're back to a striking position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mughes looks to land a combination. Juhlin sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Oh Juhlin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mughes lands with a right and another and another! Juhlin is in big trouble! Mughes lands again and this time it's lights out for Juhlin! A quality knockout there for Mughes.
