Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between quinton jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Anselmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). jackson comes to the cage accompanied by Indestructible. Anselmo has chosen Mouth for War by Pantera as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phil Anselmo!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anselmo has control of jackson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and jackson regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Anselmo is going olschool here, as he tries to force jackson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so jackson shrugs it off.

Anselmo has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of jackson's face.

Anselmo is trying to drag jackson to the mat but jackson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

jackson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Anselmo clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Anselmo's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Anselmo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Anselmo tries to close the distance and clinch but jackson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. jackson turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Anselmo off and cradles jackson's limp body as Anselmo celebrates with his corner.
