The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stokes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Stokes misses with a hook. Borodach ducked under it nicely.
Stokes connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Borodach's hands.

Stokes throws the kick towards the body but Borodach avoids it.
Borodach throws a series of punches but Stokes avoids them all with ease.
A counter left hand to the body from Stokes misses its target.
Borodach shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stokes sprawls well. Stokes wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Borodach gets slowly back to his feet.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Stokes just misses with a elbow thrown towards Borodach's brow.

Stokes lands a left and a right that send Borodach crashing to the mat, dazed. Stokes thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Stokes is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Stokes cracks Borodach on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Borodach falls backwards against the cage. Stokes follows up with more strikes that drop Borodach to his knees. Stokes keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Borodach! This one is all over!
