Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Diego Rosa (ranked 5636 p4p, 477 weight class) and Will Franklin (ranked 6347 p4p, 503 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Will Franklin was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin looks to score with a jab to the body but Rosa is just out of range.
Rosa throws a big counter combination but Franklin scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Franklin falls off balance throwing a combination
and Rosa counters with a takedown into side control.
Rosa tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rosa has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Rosa is looking to take a break and control but Franklin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Rosa is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Franklin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Rosa is working to tighten his grip on Franklin's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Franklin has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Rosa is really squeezing tight and eventually Franklin passes out! Rosa breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
