The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rua throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Some wild striking there from Rua.

Trejo drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A lull in the action here.
Rua wants to get back to his feet but Trejo is dominant here and he's now got Rua's back!
Rua has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Rua is breathing heavily.
Trejo controls the position.
Rua is trying to get back to his feet but Trejo has full control of the position and if anything, Rua has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Rua knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Trejo on the ground.

Trejo is cranking Rua's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Rua! He's tightened the choke and Rua is tapping out!
