Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vyrkyx Dall (ranked 1752 p4p, 180 weight class) and Toktogulovich Bakiyev (ranked 1590 p4p, 169 weight class). Dall's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Worm. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bakiyev fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dall looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A clash of legs there as Bakiyev blocks the low kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bakiyev! But no joy.
Bakiyev uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dall.
Bakiyev blocks a head kick by Dall.
Bakiyev connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Dall takes one on the button.
Dall has a takedown stuffed.
Bakiyev looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Bakiyev has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Dall is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Dall changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bakiyev tries to avoid it but Dall manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bakiyev to the ground. Bakiyev escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Dall looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Dall shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bakiyev's guard.
