Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Battock (ranked 322 p4p, 41 weight class) and Lazy Bastard (ranked 4074 p4p, 392 weight class). Lazy Bastard will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastard digs a good hook to Battock's body.

Bastard's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Battock connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bastard scrambles back to his feet.

Bastard is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

No joy there for Bastard, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Battock fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bastard on the side of the head.
Bastard displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Battock throws out the jab.
Battock fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bastard, pushing him back against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Battock.
Battock creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Bastard's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Bastard drops to his knees and Battock pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Battock!
