The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fattori explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Fattori throws a head kick but Rodriguez moves out of range.
Rodriguez tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Fattori manages to circle out of the way.
Rodriguez takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Fattori motions for Rodriguez to come forward. Fattori throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Rodriguez drops down looking for a counter takedown but Fattori sprawls and moves away.
Both fighters circling a little - Fattori finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Jab, jab by Fattori - just one landing.

Rodriguez takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Lucien Rodriguez has been cut.
Fattori lands a really nice looking cross but Rodriguez seems unphased.
Rodriguez has taken the fight to the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Fattori blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Fattori tries to land knees in the clinch but Rodriguez avoids the damage to the body.
Fattori comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Fattori gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Lucien Rodriguez's cut is getting worse.
Fattori dips a shoulder and cracks Rodriguez with a mighty uppercut! Rodriguez falls back against the cage and Fattori unloads with a barrage of strikes! Rodriguez is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Fattori screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Valerio Fattori!
