Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Snot Slurper (ranked 401 p4p, 60 weight class) and Xavier Frost (ranked 782 p4p, 106 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Xavier Frost!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slurper throws a jab when Frost was well out of range.
Frost appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Slurper throws a sloppy body shot
and Frost counters with a nice uppercut.
Slurper misses with a series of wild punches.
Frost looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Slurper fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Frost manages to avoid it.
Frost slips under a jab from Slurper.
Frost thinks about the counter body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slurper swings widly with a right hand
and Frost makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
The fighters circle momentarily. Slurper darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Slurper misses with a lunging right hand
and Frost counters with a straight right hand.

Slurper lands the left hand.

It looks like Xavier Frost has been cut.
Slurper rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Frost counters with a nice body kick.
Frost displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Slurper throws out the jab.
Frost only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Slurper looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Frost keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Slurper.
Slurper ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Frost moves away.
Frost throws a big counter head kick but Slurper avoids it with no problem.
Slurper fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Slurper digs a good body shot into Frost's ribs.

Slurper lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Slurper swings widly with a right hand
and Slurper takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Frost slips a straight right by Slurper.
Slurper misses with a looping left.

Slurper rushes Frost and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A short uppercut from Slurper.
Frost blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Slurper throws a punch but it's blocked by Frost.

Frost jumps into guard, dragging Slurper to the mat.
Slurper trying to stand up but can't free himself from Frost's guard.

Slurper avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Frost has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Slurper wants to get up but he can't break Frost's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Frost has his feet on Slurper's thighs here. He's pushed Slurper off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Slurper screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
