PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hans Byyler (ranked 1823 p4p, 272 weight class) and Bob Dock (ranked 3859 p4p, 517 weight class). Byyler comes to the cage accompanied by Rage against the machine sleep now in the fire. Dock has chosen The Hangover Soundtrack- Iko Iko as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dock is looking to clinch.

and Byyler counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Byyler fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dock, pushing him back against the cage.
Dock throws a knee to the head but misses.
Byyler has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Dock after a bit of a struggle.

Dock is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and Byyler cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Dock with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Byyler to score with a decent uppercut.

Byyler pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Byyler connects with a combination that backs up Dock into the cage. Byyler lands a flurry of punches that gets past Dock's guard. Dock is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Byyler bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hans Byyler!
