The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glascoe takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Del Oeste has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Del Oeste is nestled in close to Glascoe, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Glascoe wants to control but Del Oeste is keeping busy.

Del Oeste is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Del Oeste seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Del Oeste is standing up over Glascoe. Glascoe looks to escape but Del Oeste dives into side control.

Del Oeste has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Del Oeste lands a big shot there that rocks Glascoe but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Del Oeste looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Del Oeste wants to finish this one by submission but Glascoe is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Del Oeste.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Del Oeste cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Evan Glascoe's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Evan Glascoe's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
