The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hand closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Noel kicks Hand off and gets back to his feet.
Hand moves away from the strike by Noel.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hand shoots in looking for a takedown. Noel tries to sprawl out of it but Hand keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Noel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Hand working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
