Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Antouro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Reggie Ray!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Konstantin Menshow and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antouro throws a sloppy head kick and Ray moves out of range easily.
Antouro pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ray rushes Antouro and presses him up against the cage.
Antouro breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ray shoots for a takedown but Antouro saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ray throws a right hand that Antouro ducks under and follows up with a left that Antouro also avoids with ease.
Nice shot lands for Antouro.
Ray gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ray is looking to take this one to the mat.
Antouro's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Antouro throws a sloppy head kick and Ray moves out of range easily.
Ray avoids the head kick by Antouro.
Ray tries to clinch but Antouro is having none of it.
Antouro misses with a head kick.
A head kick misses from Antouro.
Ray replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Antouro blocks it well.
Mike Antouro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ray avoids the head kick by Antouro.
Ray tries to counter by closing the distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ray ducks under a wild hook from Antouro.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Antouro slaps away a takedown attempt from Ray, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Mike Antouro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reggie Ray.
Ray has closed the distance and engaged Antouro in a clinch.
Antouro breaks the clinch.
Mike Antouro is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ray misses with a takedown attempt - Antouro sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ray dives in and grabs Antouro's left leg, looking for a takedown. Antouro pushes down on Ray's head and hops out.
Ray darts in looking for a takedown but Antouro gets double underhooks and turns Ray into the cage.
Ray fails with the takedown.
Ray misses with a wild combination.
Antouro throws a head kick but Ray moves out of range.
Antouro lands a big head kick that sends Ray tumbling to the mat! Antouro takes a step backwards and waves Ray back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Reggie Ray has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Whack! Antouro lands a heavy head kick that drops Ray. The ref tackles Antouro to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Ray was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Mike Antouro!
In his post fight interview, Mike Antouro gave a big smile as he said 'I want to thank my family and my coaching team for all the support and help they have given me leading up to this fight, I can't do this without you guys, thank you!'.
