Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bilabong Conrad (ranked 2860 p4p, 409 weight class) and Brutus Kowalski (ranked 2851 p4p, 406 weight class). Conrad comes to the cage accompanied by BonieM. Kowalski has chosen Pantera - Fucking Hostile as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. On his way into the cage it seems that Bilabong Conrad has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bilabong Conrad seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalski avoids the head kick by Conrad.
Kowalski scores with a kick to the midsection.
Kowalski scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Kowalski misses the jab.
Kowalski pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kowalski swings and misses with a shot to the body
enabling Conrad to counter with a crisp jab.
We've been informed that Kowalski has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Conrad connects with a leg kick. Kowalski looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Conrad tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kowalski was well out of range. Poor timing from Conrad.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No joy there for Conrad, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kowalski rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

Kowalski's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kowalski scores with a nice strike.
Kowalski comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Conrad walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Kowalski misses with a hook
and Conrad counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kowalski connects with the punch.
Kowalski misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Conrad counters with a nice body shot.
Kowalski bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Conrad backing away here, and Kowalski unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Conrad ducks right into an uppercut from Kowalski.

Kowalski finds Conrad's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Conrad flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Kowalski lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Conrad will be OK.
