Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Lang (ranked 1507 p4p, 186 weight class) and Aniceto Platanares (ranked 3369 p4p, 388 weight class). Lang comes into the arena with Planet Rock blaring out of the sound system. Platanares has chosen Las Piedras Rodantes (El Tri de Mejico) as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lang wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Platanares shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Platanares was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Lang throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Lang is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Platanares can do to turn this around?

Platanares is backing up but Lang catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Platanares covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Lang Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Lang!
As James Lang got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I pity the fool, and I will destroy any man who tries to take what I got! '.
The defeated Aniceto Platanares had this to say: 'I had an injured rectum so wasn't 100% for this fight. I'll be back stronger'.
