Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pierre Ducati (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pierre Ducati has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Pierre Ducati!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hans Kong!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong misses with a hook. Ducati ducked under it nicely.
Kong stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Ducati gets caught flat footed, as Kong shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Ducati is looking for a triangle but Kong pushes his legs off easily.
Ducati has momentary wrist control but Kong slips an elbow through the middle.
Ducati utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Kong throws a strike but Ducati rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Ducati has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kong is proving hard to escape from.
Ducati wants to pass the guard but Kong is keeping the position.

Kong working for a triangle but Ducati defends it easily.
Kong looking for a sweep. Not yet Kong, not yet.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Ducati avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kong looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ducati wants to control from the top but Kong keeps moving.

Kong looking for a guillotine here but Ducati defends easily.
Ducati landing some decent shots from guard.
Kong looking for a sweep. Not yet Kong, not yet.
Ducati is pushing down on Kong's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kong is fighting to maintain full guard but Ducati has managed to sneak the leg through.
Kong is looking for a sweep. Ducati is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kong keeps trying to improve his position.
Well, if Ducati is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Kong is trying to get back to full guard.
Ducati controlling the action here.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Kong looks to land a right hand but Ducati moved out of range.
Ducati fails in his attempt to clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Nice defenses there by Ducati.
Ducati lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Kong fails with a takedown attempt.
Ducati closes the distance and clinches up with Kong, looking for a takedown. Ducati pushes Kong against the cage but Kong circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
No luck for Ducati with that takedown attempt.
Ducati tries to clinch up but Kong circles away and keeps his distance.
Kong throws out a counter right but Ducati avoids it with no problem.
Ducati shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kong pinned against the cage. Kong gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pierre Ducati. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Ducati misses with a takedown attempt
and Kong cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hans Kong dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Kong misses with an uppercut.
Ducati darts in looking for a takedown but Kong gets double underhooks and turns Ducati into the cage.
Pierre Ducati is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kong shoots in for a takedown but Ducati shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ducati uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kong.
As Kong looks to move away, Ducati throws a big counter combo but Kong just gets out of the way.
Ducati fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kong avoids it really well and circles away.
Ducati swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kong throws a hook but Ducati blocks it.
Kong throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Kong.
Kong tries to score with some ground and pound. Ducati controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kong working the head with strikes.
Kong taking a break here but Ducati is having none of it and regains half guard.
Ducati wants to improve his position but Kong is controlling well.
Kong working over Ducati with some ground and pound. Ducati looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Ducati manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Kong wants to free his trapped foot but Ducati is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Ducati is looking for a sweep. Kong is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kong landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Kong is trying to control the action in half guard but Ducati is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Kong is nestled in close to Ducati, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kong lands a nice short elbow.
Ducati trying to hold on to Kong's head to control him but Kong postures up.
Kong works his foot free and advances to mount.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ducati is squirming around, avoiding Kong's attempts to control the action.

Kong fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Kong looking to control but Ducati is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Kong connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Kong wants to control but instead Ducati manages to regain half guard.

Kong is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Ducati is in trouble now - Kong has advanced to mount!

Ducati taking shots to the head.
Kong is stalling here but it's allowed Ducati to get half guard.
Ducati wants to control but Kong is keeping busy.
Kong working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Kong has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Ducati slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Kong trying to control but Ducati is working from the bottom.

Hans Kong showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!



The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kong is trying to push Ducati away but Ducati has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Ducati tries to pull guard but Kong holds him up against the cage and eventually Ducati drops back down to his feet.

Kong manages to break the clinch.
Ducati throws a head kick but Kong moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kong blocks a leg kick.
Kong throws a solid leg kick but Ducati takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kong.
Ducati shoots in for a takedown but Kong shows good takedown defense.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kong takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Ducati tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kong paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kong feints the counter takedown.
Kong jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kong lands a nice shot that snaps Ducati's head back.
Ducati doesn't succeed with the takedown
enabling Kong to counter with a crisp jab.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pierre Ducati. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ducati will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Ducati blocks a jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Kong misses the target.

Ducati attempts a counter takedown but Kong avoids it well and moves away.

Ducati keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kong avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Ducati is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kong sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Kong throws a hook to the side of Ducati's head but Ducati sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A bone on bone clash there as Kong blocks the leg kick.

Ducati moves into the clinch successfully.
Ducati tries to land knees in the clinch but Kong avoids the damage to the body.
Kong wants to break the clinch but can't.
Ducati is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kong gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Ducati with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Ducati blocks a body shot from Kong.
Ducati gets underhooks to prevent Kong's takedown attempt.
Ducati is looking to control Kong's arms but Kong gets an underhook and turns him. Now Ducati has his back to the cage.
Kong is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ducati gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Kong manages to break the clinch.

Ducati gets a double leg takedown into Kong's guard.
Kong lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Kong sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ducati's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ducati on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Ducati is staying active underneath Kong, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Kong wants to pass to mount but Ducati is defending the position.

Kong is looking for submissions but instead, Ducati has regained full guard.
Kong must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Ducati wants to stand and escape but Kong is having none of it.
Kong won't allow Ducati to sweep him here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ducati trying to keep a closed guard but Kong is proving a slippery customer.
Kong is working Ducati over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

And that's the end of the fight!
Hans Kong comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Kong winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
