Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Paradoski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Addison Lacasse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Addison Lacasse will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lacasse is looking to clinch but Paradoski is avoiding it.

Paradoski bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Paradoski has control of Lacasse's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Lacasse regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Paradoski ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Paradoski no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Paradoski is staying active underneath Lacasse, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Paradoski is positioning himself well to prevent Lacasse advancing to mount.
Paradoski is trying to maintain the position but Lacasse is very close to passing his half guard.

Lacasse decides to return to a standing position.
Paradoski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lacasse tries to avoid it but Paradoski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lacasse to the ground. Lacasse escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
