Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Minobu Kurita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Todd Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kurita kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Game of Thrones. Cannon has chosen The Conquering- Black Moor as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Minobu Kurita looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cannon throws out a leg kick but Kurita moves out of range and Cannon only half commits.
Cannon wants to slow Kurita down by chopping away at his legs.
Kurita half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Kurita forces Cannon back against the cage and clinches.

Cannon pulls guard.

Kurita is sitting in close to Cannon's body. Cannon has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Kurita is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Kurita is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Cannon.

Todd Cannon really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Voodoo Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
