The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apple with a lazy takedown attempt
and Cbomb makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Apple is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Cbomb to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Cbomb shrugs it off.

Apple is working for a guillotine from mount but Cbomb frees his head quite easily.
Cbomb tries to reverse the position but Apple maintains control.

Apple with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Apple is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Cbomb has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Apple wants to control the pace but Cbomb is squirming around nicely.
Cbomb is looking to get to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Cbomb regains half guard.
Apple is pressing down on Cbomb's thigh, looking to free his foot. Cbomb is holding on for now.

Apple stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cbomb swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Cbomb connects with a nice looking jab.

Apple drops down looking for a counter takedown but Cbomb sprawls and moves away.

Cbomb pounces like a tiger and cracks Apple with a vicious hook! Apple is down but not out! Cbomb follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
